The Dr. Gustavo Bounous Fund

"October 8, 2008

Dear Licensees:

In this inaugural year of the Fund, Immunotec’s Scientific Advisory Board has chosen to advance the scientific programs of the McGill Department of Oncology and the Centre for Translational Research in Cancer by funding the work of Dr. Thomas Jagoe. Dr. Jagoe’s research project is entitled: “Mitochondrial-targeted fluorescent signals in real-time imaging to monitor morphological adaptation and aid functional correlation in muscle tissue.

The Dr. Gustavo Bounous Fund provides financial resources to carry forward the legacy of Dr. Gustavo Bounous, who has dedicated his life to identifying, through research, ways to improve the health and wellness of people around the world.

On behalf of Immunotec, its Distributors across North America and its international Licensees, Immunotec will award $50,000 for these key investigations into cancer cachexia, for the betterment of health and wellness worldwide.

If you are commited to improved health and ongoing research into a disease that affects so many of our families, we invite you to partner with us by making a donation to the Dr. Gustavo Bounous Fund. Cheques should be made payable to “McGill University – Dr. Gustavo Bounous Fund” and sent to our offices at 300 Joseph-Carrier, Vaudreuil-Dorion, J7V 5V5 for forwarding to McGill. Be assured that the funds will go directly to McGill and tax receipts will be issued by them.

Sincerely,

James A. Northrop
President & CEO"
