Fantastic News Anita,
You guys will really love Bali and the Bali People are wonderful people too....
My only advice is to get a feel for the place in the first few days and watch who you buy goodies from and learn how to trade with the Bali People with a guide by your side....
The Sellers will haggle you quite alot and you might not be used to that much attention, but it is how they earn their living so like I said spend a few days getting aquainted with the trading system first..... It doesnt take long to spend a lot of money in the first few days trying to work out the conversion rates in your head.....
I was there last year and had a quick formula that every $15 Aussie Dollars was worth about 100,000 Rupee, so that made it easier for me to trade.... Also a calculator might come in handy..... But I'm sure you guys will have heaps of fun learning the system.....
Also I have a few contacts and guides that you can meet with when you go there to help make it easier for you..... Unlike me I paid around $20 AUD simply to have my bags wheeled on a trolley 50mtrs out the door lol... My Kids were laughing....... So that was my first time and Welcome to Bali Mr Johnston.... Hahhaha.....
So happy to give you some contacts of quality local people that I met over there.... One family owns one of the White Water Rapids Tours, so you guys will absolutely love that.... My kids still talk about it

Okey dokes hopefuly there are some more great tips and contacts for you from some of the other Zenergenius Members....
Take Care
Clayton J
PS I might have to start a Travel and Holiday Section in this forum too... Great Question Anita and thanks for sharing !!
