Ok so fitness does not come easy to me, in fact it barely comes at all LOL but I have found that if I can just get myself to the beach then half the work is done!!
The smell of the salty air, the feeling of the sand under foot...tell me it doesn't make you want to frolick in the waves and feel the wind blow through your hair!!
I am NOT a jogger, my body is NOT built for high impact on superficial ground no matter how much latex is in the sole!! But on the beach I can do a pretend jog (while noone is watching of course) hehehe
With a child under 5 who cannot cope with child care institutions I could speak in limitations to myself and wait till he can go to school and i can get to a gym....or I can go to the beach every time the sun shines and the rain is not bucketing down...
Child plays in one spot...I run up and down the beach in front of him...that's a win/win situation
A little creativity goes a long way
soon he will want to race me, by then I shall be up for the challenge
Another Wayne Dyer quote... Don't wait for all your ducks to be in a row...they never will be!! find something that you can do that makes you feel good about yourself, it may take time to achieve a physical fitness but your mind will benefit immediately!!
